LEMP in partnership with Voice East Midlands and Confederation of Indian Organisations held a joint Briefing and Consultation Session on the government’s initiative of ‘Working Together’. The consultation was carried out with the BME Voluntary and Community sector in shaping future government’s priorities and actions for the development of the sector.
The whole outcome of this event was to shape government’s policies in favour of BME VCOs and ultimately for the BME and other marginalised communities in Leicester and Leicestershire.
