3rd May 2007 at Peepul Centre
European Social Fund- Briefing session

LEMP in partnership with VOICE East Midlands and Government Office for the East Midlands held an important event for the BME Voluntary and Community Sector on how to access European Social Funds (ESF). The ESF is an important potential source of funding for organisations that provide employment and skills related services. Projects that address either skills needs, or will help people into jobs or better employment prospects can apply.

There was an opportunity for BME organisations who had basic understandings of how the ESF worked and how they could work towards seeking further funding to meet their organisations objectives. There was also the opportunity for a small number of eligible organisations to be able to receive intensive guidance and training as an extension of this session, working alongside a funding expert over a period of time.

Due to the high demand envisaged for this event only one place could be reserved for one organisation.
